Rwanda Cybersecurity Policy Exercise
Workshop
The Stiftung Neue Verantwortung’s “International Cybersecurity Policy” team designed and facilitated a virtual cybersecurity policy exercise in Rwanda. The exercise took place on July 8th as part of the project on “Cybersecurity Exercises in Country-Specific Contexts” commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
In this highly interactive, discussion-based tabletop exercise, participants from Rwanda responded to a hypothetical cyber incident. They focused on practicing analytical and strategic assessment of a cyber incident and identifying coordination and communication measures between stakeholders from the government, private sector, and civil society.
