Ernesto Oyarbide-Magaña

Ernesto is Head of PR and Outreach at SNV. He works with the rest of the team to promote SNV´s research and policy proposals with policymakers, the media and the wider public.

Prior to joining SNV,  Ernesto held teaching and communication roles at the Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford). He has also carried out some policy analysis tasks for the European Commission and the UK Government.

Ernesto has a DPhil in the History of Diplomacy from the University of Oxford. Over the past years, he has endeavoured to combine research endeavours with some initiatives in public policy; and he has contributed to projects in the fields of history, transnational governance, technology policy and the prevention of misinformation.
