How can we get more young Europeans into jobs?

Podiumsdiskussion

8 Million young people between the ages of 15 and 29 are unemployed in the EU. Prominent initiatives such as the European Youth Guarantee are meant to provide short-term solutions for the unemployed youth today. Much less effort has been made to achieve long-term structural reforms, which would help young people master the transition from education into employment and avoid social exclusion. For 12 months, a group of young professionals from government agencies, the private sector and civil society developed proposals which aim at improving the impact of youth employment policies in Europe. The Team will present and critically discuss their findings in a small round of experts, together with our guests Lora Lyubenova (Member of the Board at European Youth Forum) and Richard Kühnel (Head of European Commission Representation in Germany).
