Labour market 4.0

Self-learning software, advances in robotics and digital platforms are increasing the pressure for change on employees, employers, and on the German welfare state. More flexibility in the performance of work, fast-changing skill requirements, and possibly falling demand for labour require rethinking in core areas of social security systems and the labour market.
