Anna Semenova
Data Scientist
Anna Semenova works as a data scientist at SNV.
Anna has a background in modern practical methods of statistical inference and econometrics. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from a joint program of the Higher School of Economics and the New Economic School in Moscow, as well as a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Humboldt University of Berlin. In the Master's thesis they worked with multivariate biomedical data to identify patterns for imputing missing values and translated a theoretical statistical model into reproducible pipeline code.
Before joining the SNV, they worked for several companies and gained hands-on experience in various areas of Data Science for business needs and communicating data-driven results to the team.
