Resilience and Cybersecurity of decentralizing energy systems at Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue

Conference

Julia Schuetze led a workshop and moderated a panel on cybersecurity and resilience of decentralizing energy systems. In a workshop, participants first looked at what data may be vulnerable to cyber attacks, what cyber threats are currently targeting decentralizing systems and finally discussed about resilience mechanisms ( such as risk assessment, basic cyber hygiene, fall-back measures). Later on the panel the conversation continued with interdisciplinary experts, such as security researcher Chris Kubecka, Ana Trbovich, founder of Gridsingularity,  Dr. Ludmila Georgieva from Google, Stefan Moser from DG Environment of the European Commission, Mr Tammist, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology from Estonia and Giovanna Dondossola, Leading Scientist for cyber risks at RSI in Italy.
