Better intelligence oversight through technology? New perspectives on an old problem

Thorsten contributed to a recent publication "Privacy And Cyber Security On The Books And On The Grounds" edited by Ingolf Pernice and Jörg Pohle (both at HIIG Berlin). His chapter elaborates on the need for intelligence oversight innovation. It points to aspects where a more systematic and creative use of technology might help oversight bodies to better address known deficits. It then sketches out a few options that may make a difference if put into practice.
