Presseworkshop: Der EU Chips Act – Woran das Halbleitergesetz noch scheitern könnte

Press Talk

Over the summer, Brussels will continue to work on the EU Chips Act. The draft law is Europe's answer to the ongoing semiconductor crisis. It is intended to make the European economy more independent of other chip producers, such as China. However, our experts have analyzed the draft law and identified numerous critical points.

Why might the EU semiconductor strategy not work as intended? Where does the EU Chips Act need improvement? And what can we expect from the further legislative process in Brussels?

We answered these and other questions in an online press workshop on Monday, 11th July 5-6pm (Berlin time). SNV’s semiconductor experts Jan-Peter Kleinhans and Julia Hess presented their analysis on the EU Chips Act and answered questions.
