Digital Blueprint: A German Proposal for Tackling Dominance and Data

The draft 10th amendment to the German Competition Act 1 is one of the first concrete sets of action to expand a competition authority’s toolbox in response to the developments on digital markets. It may well serve as a blueprint for changes elsewhere, including at the European level. The draft amendment includes a broad range of changes, from increased merger thresholds to easier application of interim measures.
