Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity

As part of the Transatlantic Cyber Forum, Sven Herpig and Kate Saslow hosted a workshop to discuss the information security of machine learning applications, particularly how these themes are relevant to national security. The workshop brought together 20 experts from the EU and the United States. This expertise spanned across public and private sectors and civil society with backgrounds in computer science, IT security, cybersecurity, machine learning and more. Over the two days, the expert working group and hosts analysed the problem in order to shape the debate to inform potential steps forward.
